Evolution

Well, Redbubble and Demo Stores are at it again.

They have launched a third collaborative competition, Music Machines, where again the winners will get to have tshirts hanging in their store in Carnaby Street. Yep - real shirts - on real mannequins in a shop!

After immediately having a couple of ideas, I spent a good week frustratingly trying to translate them from my brain to "paper" .. and finally came up with this!

I was surprised tonight to receive an email from the amazingly talented Yanmos with this fabulous mock up of a "real" person wearing my shirt!! Thanks Yannis!

So, there you go .. I can't imagine that this will do as well as my other Demo competition entry, but hey - I've given it my best shot!

As usual ... the pictures are links to buy!

Just when you thought ......

.... it was safe to come back and that all the hoo haa about Wired from Birth had settled, the aforementioned cotton actually hit the timbers at Demo!

Yeah, I know I came second - but it is my blog you know!!
(L to R Diesel Law's Music Head, Ine Spee's Whistling Boy and you know what!)

Real live people photographing Ine's Whistling Boy in the front window!

Aforementioned Whistling Boy on hangers (as befits the winner!)

Nick Ford's Hard Roctopus and the massively large taggy goodness with all the details.

According to the Count of Cotton, Sultan of Stitch and all round tshirt guru onetonshadow, we are all going to hit mannequins just like Scott's AudioHive - Electric!

I would also like to extend massive thanks to onetonshadow for allowing me to hijack his photographs for my blog.

Demo Store Redbubble Competition Results!

Well!!

In a totally unexpected (by me it seems) turn up for the books ... Wired from Birth took out second place in the Demo/RB Sound Competition!!

Much to my unbridled delight (and the detriment of Anne's hearing) the wonderfully amazing Demo folks will be buying 20 (nope - that's not a typo) of the aforementioned shirt and selling them in their store in CARNABY STREET in London!!

And hey - if you don't believe me - click on the title above to check out the results - and the other exceptionally cool placegetters!!

Thank again to the exceptionally brilliant folk at Redbubble and Demo for the chance to enter this amaaaazing comp.

Redbubble's Sound Competition!

Having received a not so subtle kick in the pants from a friend about not having blogged for a while, I shall redeem myself by flogging RB's latest bit of competition brilliance!

They have again teamed up with the good folks at Demo to offer designers the chance to have tshirts for sale in a prime window position in Demo's London store.

The competition has closed for entries now - and as I type this there are 9 days left to vote!

There are some amazing entries, all available for sale in the meantime.

I have entered with this;

I don't know how much correct form it is to canvas votes on one's blog, but it's my blog and I'll shamelessly self promote if I want!! /grin

Anyway, go check out the comp, enjoy the entries and vote hard ... (you can vote for more than one entry btw).

The post header is a link to the voting!
